New publication on seaweed cellulose

In this publication we report on successful extraction of cellulose from the green macro algae Ulva lactuca from the Swedish west coast. The cellulose was disintegrated into lignin-free cellulose nanofibrils, CNF, using a mechanical homogenization process without any further enzymatic pre-treatments.
